Reader Feedback

HelpConsole includes powerful feedback functionality that allows readers to submit comments for any help topic within your help system. You can configure your help system so that comments are added immediately, or require that comments be approved before being displayed.

To allow readers to submit comments, simply add the variable "[comments]" to the help page.

  1. Click here to login as 'admin'
2. Add a comment. Notice that the comment was submitted by 'admin'
3. Change the status of a comment to 'hidden'
4. To view the 'Pending Reader Comments' report, click 'Tools > Reports > Pending Reader Comments'
