 Activity Log
HelpConsole 2010 now records all reader and administrator actions including what pages are viewed, search terms, comments submitted, pages added, etc. All of this information is displayed on the 'Activity Log' report which can be filtered by various criteria |
 Paste Images
HelpConsole can now be used on conjunction with screen capture tools such as Snagit, allowing authors to paste images, screenshots and screen regions directly onto helpconsole pages. |
 Language Translation
HelpConsole 2010 now provides full language translation. All aspects of the interface can be displayed in any language including tooltips, dialog headings, etc. |
 Improved Search Engine
The search engine for both dynamic help and static help has been greatly improved. Search results are now displayed by relevence based on various criteria. Readers can also apply conditions such as 'any page', 'all pages' and 'page title'. Results can also be filtered by chapter. |

HelpConsole 2010 was designed from the ground up using the latest technology including Visual Studio 2008 and AJAX. |
Publish Sub-section
Authors can now publish sub-sections of their help project to static help or PDF manual. This allows multiple PDF manuals to be created from one project decreasing file size and load time. |
Report Designer
Administrators can now customize existing reports or create their own reports to display useful information from the project database. |
Stylesheets
Separate stylesheets can now be applied for each skin. Styling for various elements such as 'breadcrumbs', 'login link', 'icon panels' etc. has been improved. |
Backup Options
New backup options have been included to exclude unnessesary folders thus reducing the backup file size. |
Predefined Table Styles
When adding tables, authors can select predefined styles, that will be applied to the table, and can be changed at any time in the future. |

Dynamic Tag Editor
Authors can quickly set properties for selected HTML elements on the page, such as images, tables, table cells, etc.

Track Changes
Authors can track changes to see what edits have been made since the page was opened. |
Format Code Block
Authors can copy and paste code such as 'HTML Code', 'VB Code', 'Javascript', 'C# Code', etc. The HelpConsole editor will apply correct formatting, indentation and colors to the code. |
Improved Spellchecker
The spellcheck function is now displayed inline with the editor, making it easier to use. |
Import Word, HTML, Robohelp
Authors can now import Word documents, HTML pages and Robohelp projects. Most formatting, images, links, etc. are preserved. |
New Project Setup
When a new project is added, you are now prompted for values such as 'company name', 'support email', etc. which are automatically inserted throughout the help project. |
Resizable Contents Window
The contents window is now resizable. |
